I have an existing project of a Late Achamenid Persian army for FOG A. Most of it has been done but I still have a plastic tub full of untouched lead.....so I have sorted out the pile into battle-groups and have begun the reinforcement process.
First up were 6 elements of cavalry which will be added to 6 existing elements to form 3 new battle-groups.
These are the fantastic Xyston Miniatures, some of the best 15mm sculpts out there, even if they are on the larger end of the scale.
For this project I had to go back to my old method of painting, which I have not used for a couple of year. Black undercoat and then dry bushing. I am very happy with the results.
