15mm Bolt Action Commission- The Americans

This was the bulk of the Bolt Action commission I took on whilst home.  A horde of infantry, a few crewed support weapons and some vehicles.

All are Peter Pig casting, which where are very nice, very little flash.  the vehicles fit together well.

I did enjoy painting this little project.

The vehicles, a Stuart, an M8 and a Jeep

Support weapons and anti tank gun

The infantry, all individually based on metal washers

15mm Bolt Action Commission-Germans

Whilst at home last time a club member asked if I could paint a few 15mm figures for a WW2 Bolt Action force he was building.  I said and yes and was given a bag full of US troops and a few German items.

These are the German items, a PzIII, Sd Kfz250/9 and 3 Pak36s.

SdKfz 250/9 and PzIIIJ

Pak36
The models are from Peter Pig and are very nice, not much flash and easy to assemble.  I have not glued the PzIII turret on, so can be positioned as you wish.

The Pak36s are mounted on metal washers, crew will be single based, which enables casualty removal.

A Very British Civil War British Union of Fascists (BUF)

The second faction I have started for AVBCW if the British Union of Fascists (BUF).  These are the of  disciples of Oswald Mosely and supporters of the King Edward and Mrs Simpson.

A light armored section sent over from the BUF's friends in Germany 4 Panzer 1s

The standard Pz1 showing it's BUF colours.

 The Troop Commander

And waste not want not......lost it's turret in action and has been adapted as a self propelled anti tank gun!

Here the tank is equipped with 2pdr gun providing mobility to tank killing!

BUF Big Wig in his Staff Car complete with a Hotckiss machine gun!

A regular British Army tank regiment shows it's allegiance to the BUF cause.

Many regular and territorial units chose sides when the conflict split the country.
Above are two Cruiser tanks.

 Two Matilda infantry support tanks.

On to the BUF Militia, a squad from Exeter, not the Spanish style Fascist uniforms.

A 2pdr gun deployed to add some bang!

And Hotchkiss machine guns in the heavy and light role.

 BUF Stormtroopers!

These guys carry submachine guns.....light machine guns...

and lots of grenades!!

These are the hardcore fanatics are used to spearhead the assault.

A Very British Civil War (AVBCW) Anglican League

So a new project for 2014 for my gaming pleasure a small venture into the world of 1938 Britain were a civil war rages between many factions.

The first faction I have started with is the Anglican League.  Led by the Church of England Hierarchy spreading the word of God through out he ravaged lands.

The first batch of armored support

A section of Tankettes originally from the Soviet Union they have been pressed into service by the League.  No one is quite sure where they came from but they must be a gift from God!
This Matilda was picked up from a British Army Depot, with the addition of League symbols it is ready to spread the good word!
A Putalov Armoured car, it looks like someone has been buying up Spanish Civil War surplus.

Tankette section commander

The first section of League infantry proudly displaying the flag of the Tiverton field force.  As you can see a very strong French influence to their uniform and equipment.

Here are the support weapons for the Senegalese Tralliers that have 'volunteered' from the French Army.  I have painted up a full platoon of these guys for WW2 Bolt Action, the standard bearer is just for AVBCW obviously!
